Hi Sateesh,

If you want your partners to configure existing interfaces SAP recommends the SAP PCK: http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/3f9fc190-0201-0010-0cbd-87f50e404...

However, if you want outside your MZ develops interfaces, from my point of view the best ways are to have a VPN and for the partners to have a non-central adapter engine.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I decided to use proxy/reverse proxy mechanism to connect outside company firewall.

Hi,

There is mutiple methods you can do this.

You can add a J2SE adapter in the DMZ.

Adapters Running in the Plain J2SE Adapter Engine - SAP NetWeaver Process Integration Security Guide...

Or make the use of Certificates  between SAP PI and third party system.

Or make the use of a VPN tunnel.

Virtual private network - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are other options as well but these are good options. Depends what system you are running etc.
