Hello,

I am working in SAP ChaRM Solution Manager.I have created a multilevel categorization schema based on the below requirement:

Level1: System

Level2: Region

Level3: Module

Level4: Location.

In my requirement i have 10 Systems and 4 regions and 16 Modules and 90 Locations.for each and every module i need to create 90locations.

to complete this Schema i need to create around 57000 entries which will take more time.

Could you please let me know is there any alternative way to create Schema to reduce time.

Regards,

Sudipto

Hi Sudipto,

you can create a template schema and then export it to excel sheet using CATEGOTOOL transaction code. It's easier to work in excell accroding to template and then simply upload the excel back to solman.

You may refer this;

Hi, Sudipto.

What is the idea of using MLC for this purposes?

You can always find information about system by IBase, Region by BP of user or sold-to party, Module by SAP Colmponent...

P.S. Not sure about what is "Location" in your company, but I am sure that it can be determined without MLC.
