Portal Runtime Error

Hi all,

I am trying to execute my Portal application in .NET. it is bieng deployed easily but when i run/execute it it gives tis Error. I checked Portal Runtime also its running.

Error is:

<b>An exception occurred while processing a request for :

iView : PortalApplication27.PortalComponent1

Component Name : PortalApplication27.PortalComponent1

iView cannot display.

Could not connect to the .NET runtime server.

Contact your administrator if the problem persists.

Possible reasons:

1. The Portal Runtime for .NET service is not running or installed.

2. The .NET Runtime Servers Configuration property of 'iViewProcessorService' service is not correct. Check the syntax of server nodes, hosts and ports settings.

Hi Aseem,

how are you doing ?

this is quite a generic error message, usually received when the .net runtime server is not responding to the portal

please paste the portal logs for a better understanding of the underlying problem

also please post your config
