Dear expert,
You may know that when we create promotion through WAK1 and active price through WAK5, SAP will create condition and store to condition type VKA0.
My question is "Is this condition type VKA0 hard code by SAP, can we have different condition type other than VKA0"?
Here client wants to have different condition type, for example ZKA1, ZKA2 to store different condition for different promotion type / purpose.
Any soluiton or suggestion?

Hello,
VKP0 is the default condition type for promotion price. You could treat it as hard code.
Suggest to use the default condition type for all different promotion. When sales document post back to ERP, VKP0 has higher priority than normal sales price condition, I think this logic is hard coded...
Hope above could be help.

Dear Ryan,
Thanks for your reply.
Let me make it more clear. We don't use sales document. Promotion price will be interfaced from SAP Retail to POS through standard Idoc.
VKP0 is the standard sales price. But my question is about VKA0- promotion price. Why SAP always pick up VKA0 during promotion price activation WAK5?

Hi Honghai,
Sorry, I type error.
In my previous reply, it should be VKA0.
Standard function of WAK5 only generate the VKA0 as promotion price.

Dear Ryan,
Ok, then is that SAP hard code about it? I mean always pick up VKA0?
Can we change that logic? How to change? Is there any user exit? Can we do any enhancement about this logic?
Best regards,
Honghai

Hi
Please check you customize settings in the IMG under retail sales price calculation.
Spro>logistics general>retail pricing>sales price calculation>control data for pricing table and data backup>control per sales price calc schema and list field
In your schema under list field ENDPR set the condition type for promotion and normal when saving list fields in master conditions.
Don't forget to then maintain the assignment of condition tables for your schema as well.
I hope this works.
