Types of Leave Defaulted to Alphabetical sequence : Not as in R/3

Dear Friends,

There's a difference between Leave display sequence in R/3 and ESS as below.Tried to give Sort number field values in V_T554S_WEB Table as 001 for PL,002 for SL , 003 for CL and so on . But in ESS it displays alphabetically.

ESS Leave type Sequence:

R/3 Leave type Sequence:

Both should be in sync.

Any help. Not a serious issue, Still want to Explore System behavior

Is it standard SAP system behavior in ESS?

If yes, will convince the client the same
