Inventory count. Blocked bin with several material

Hello,

I'm running an inventory count for a given material and the system is blocking the bins where this material is located which makes sense.  My problem is that some of the bins are mix bins meaning they have several materials and thus the other materials for which I'm not running the inventory count are also blocked.  Is there a way that I can unblock the materials for which I'm not running the inventory count?

the WM inventory is not by material, it is by bin, with mixed bins you have to count all items in that bin, this is the standard design for WM inventory. The only option would be to change the inventory process to transaction LICC quant cycle counting.

Hi

I think try to execute cycle counting at the quant level. In this scenario, only quants of the particular material are blocked for the period of actual inventory counting. This will be suitable for storage bins with mixed storage.
