Hi,

U do this before configure the R/3 system into Portal.

Check all these in VA.

Go to Visual Composer

1)Make new Connecion

a)User name->

b)Host ->

c)Port->50004

Goto cluster ->got to server->services->sld Data supplier.

Set RFC Settings

a)Gateway Host ->ip of ep

b)GateWay service/port->sapgw00/3300

CIM client generation settings

Host->ip address of ep

Port ->50000

user->

Set Http Settings

Host->ip of ep

port->50000

user->j2ee_admin

Do these steps

And message server of R/3 system IP and host name added to you system Windows services file and Portal Ip and host to be added in the Host file of the system.

Then it will work.

Thanks,

Lohi.

Hai Lohitha,

i am using WindosXP, in this there is no directory called Services, where i have to enter R/3 host name and ip

Hi,

In Start -> Run, type 'drivers' and press enter. There you will find the folder 'etc'. Inside tht folder you will get the 'services' and 'hosts' files.
