IL03 change default tab to be displayed when entering functional location

Hello together,

when displaying a functional location with IL03 or from IH06 the system always shows by default the

content of the tab "Location".

How can I change this? Is there any customizing setting to have the tab "General" displayed when

entering a functional location?

I've taken already a look to the func.loc. view profiles, but couldn't find any hint for a setting influencing the tab to be displayed first.

Hi Patrick,

What is the SAP version you are using ?

Can you open the functional location in IL02 and save it to check if any error or warning message populated ?

I've checked once again:

When using IH06 and double clicking on the func.loc. label to open it you are forwarded to tab "Location". But when you mark a line with a func.loc. and enter it via button "Details" you jump to tab "General".

When opening the transaction IL03/IL02 over the command field and enter a func.loc. you jump in to tab "General".

Weird behavior! But if there's no solution or logical explanation, our users have to live/survive with this fact. It's not a critical limitation.

@ Rakesh: behavior is same for all users

@ Terence: no problems with changing and saving in IL02; version is ECC6.0 with EHP6

Unfortunately, i am also facing the same issue

Trying to find out, there is no perfect connection, this should occur when you press Ctrl+Shift+F1 (Details).

Did you check the functional location view profile in SPRO ?

I guess Location is given first view rather than general.
