Can anyone explain settings in SCOT to send SMTP mail.urgent.

Hi Victor,
please check if you have already made those basis settings:
1. in the SCOT screen double click on the SMTP node
in the pop-up screen: SAPConnect General node data you have to set
[General Information Box]
1a. set a description (eg: mail server)
1b. define the maximum waiting time for repeat send procedure
[SMTP Connection Box]
2a. set the FQDN of your smtp server (your SAP server or the relay server)
2b. set the mail port (25 is the default one)
2c. set 0 No Convesion
[Supported address types]
push the button Set corresping the internet settings, you will have a new pop called SAPConnect Adress type for node:
[Address area Box]
3a. Set a * if you do not want to define limit otherwise define the domin availble for sending mail
Press continue
Pess continue (again in the first pop-up)
In the Setting menu chose the Default domain and in the pop-up set you domain name (eg: yourdomainname.com)
After those settings please remember to set the user master record settings in SU01 for each user who sends mail you have to define the e-mail in the [Communication Box]
Please check also if you have alredy set the profile settings in the Istance profile using the RZ10
