Screen Personas for Report Selection Screen and Output Results

Hi,

I have designed a report selection screen under flavor name RPT_SEARCH.

The output for the report selection screen  was put under flavor name RPT_RESULTS.

Question

1) How do I link the two flavors in such a way that after user executes RPT_SEARCH he will be redirected to the output screen in RPT_RESULTS.??

2) Alternatively is it a good approach to design the Report's selection screen and output within a same flavor.??

There is no reason to have separate flavor names for the selection screen and the resulting list. Just create one flavor and adjust the screens in that one flavor.

A flavor is linked to a complete transaction, not individual screens.

Hi,

I have also face same issue in our system for this we follow the below steps and it is working as you required.

1: For selection screen create a flavor e,g  CRM_FLV.

2: execute the report, the output it will show with basic list.

3:Create a copy of basic list with same name as CRM_FLV.

4: Set the created flavor as default flavor.

Now when you will execute the report it will come with default flavor.
