Messages size is bytes or KB in sap PI?

Dear Experts,

I have clear clarification on the sized from the below trace log.

<SAP:MessageSizePayload>27999</SAP:MessageSizePayload>

<SAP:MessageSizeTotal>35226</SAP:MessageSizeTotal>

<SAP:PayloadSizeRequest>32426</SAP:PayloadSizeRequest>

<SAP:PayloadSizeRequestMap>27999</SAP:PayloadSizeRequestMap>

<SAP:PayloadSizeResponse>0</SAP:PayloadSizeResponse

Message sizes are always in Bytes

Dear Rajendra,

if i am checking in Moni messages it is showing in 27.99 that means it is in bytes or KBs.

Please clarify my doubt?

hi Sri,

dont get confused with different version.

the one that you are getting in SAP:MessageSizePayload>27999</SAP:MessageSizePayload>

is in bytes and one that you are getting in moni is in KB  i.e. 27.99 KB which is same as ur log details.
