We are currently undertaking a OS migration from Solaris to Red Hat
Linux for our application servers and our database server to follow.
In reading the supported OS documenation it appears that Red Hat Linux is not certified/supported for the databases for our CLM (E-sourcing
9) systems. Can you please validate/confirm?
Thxnks,
Bob
BTW... E-Sourcing - CLM version 9.0

Hi Bob,
In terms of the database servers, Sourcing is not particular about what OS you run your DB on if it is a separate DB server. If the DB server and app server share the same physical server you must consider what Netweaver and Sourcing have certified on. If it is a separate DB server as long as your DB vendor supports the OS you are good to go. We use a JDBC connection to the DB and this is OS agnostic.

Gary
