Activate function for distributor and reseller

Hello,

now, I have read all installion Guides and have search for OSS hints.

I like to use the Ship-and-Debit function for distributor and reseller. These functions are in the modul SAP High Tech.

I like to use the Business Function /SAPHT/DRM_DISTRIBUTOR / & /SAPHT/DRM_MANUFACTURER.

I coun't find them in the transaktion SFW5.

When I have a look in the transaction sfw2 I see that the function were marked as activ. Also the switch "/SAPHT/HIGH_TECH" is marked as aktiv.

But that transactions and the menu isn't there.

What can I do to activate and use this functions?

Hi,

this functionality should not be used nor activated any longer.

It is out of maintenance. Only the Help Portal still contains its functionality.

We have been working with our partner Vistex to offer similar functionality for some industries (see e.g. here: http://www.vistex.com/software/trade-channel/), respectively for High Tech Semiconductor scenarios offered CRM Channel Management including Design Registration.

Going forward we also have plans to offer Design Registration in our cloud-based offering.

Please let us know what exactly you were looking for.

Hi,

thanks for your answer. But I looking for the IS-HT-DRM solution.

And not IS-HT_MES. This Add-on were finished with ERP 4.0 (OSS hint 1162438).

my response is valid. The MES add-on was shut down earlier, correct.

Hi,

as I said, if you are using SAP CRM then you can use Channel  Sales Management for it:

Ship-and-Debit Claim - Channel Sales Management for High Tech - SAP Library

If you want to implement this process on top of SAP ERP - please check out the offering of our partner Vistex:

vielen Dank für den Link. Jedoch sind dies die gleichen Informationen und Hinweise, die ich bereits gefunden habe. Es ändert leider nichts daran, dass man keinen Zugriff auf die Funktionaliäten bzw. Transaktionen hat.

Die Frage war dahingehend gestellt, wie man dies nutzen kann. Die Doku hilft mir nichts.

Vielleicht können Sie mir hierzu einen Hinweis geben.

leider ist es so, dass alte Doku teilweise noch eine ganze Zeit lang mit durch die Releases durchgezogen wird, auch wenn die Funktionalität nicht mehr implementiert werden soll. Dies ist auch hier der Fall. Auch SAP High Tech Software ist hier noch in der Doku enthalten, obwohl es nicht mehr implementiert wird und auch nicht mehr von Kunden genutzt.

Ich denke Sie fahren sehr gut wenn Sie sich die Vistex SAP ERP Add-On Lösung anschauen.
