External Tax System error

Hi!!,

We are using External System as our solution for the Sales and use tax. We have maxtax applicable so as per the design the pricing procedure has UTXD and UTXE as group conditions. For Arkansas which is a MaxTax state the calculation comes good but for florida where Maxtax should be as per the item level I am getting an error " Error in external tax system ...unknown tax calculation error" and surprisingly UTXE is not behaving properly.

I am not sure if I am missing anything.

I would appreciate if anybody can share his/her experiences around the same.

Check with FI tax Procedure by IMG > Financial Accounting > Financial Accounting global setting > Tax on sales purchase >Basic setting > Check calculation procedure, here you can check the condition type and Tax procedure.

Hi,

I also faced a similar error, but since the tax is calculated from an external system, please make sure whether interface is up and active.

Else go to OX10, give your plant code and check whether an entry exist in Jurisdiction code, if this exist it will search for various tax values. IF you remove this, it will wotk.
