error in upgrade from SAP NW 7.30 to EHP1 SAP NW 7.30(731)

Hello All,

I am trying to upgrade SAP NW 7.30 to EHP1 SAP NW 7.30(731)  and encounter below error in JAVA, looking for third party components

com.sap.sdt.jspm.service.specifyqueue.SpecifyQueueService class java.lang.NullPointerException site:scn.sap.com

Just to confirm,

SUM SP12 Patch 4 is released and this fixes the issue described in this thread.

Hi Jorg,

There is a bug in SUM tool, Please create OSS message, SAP will resolve  the issues, SAP confirmed that they will release the new SUM patch with the fix next week some time.

I will create an OSS message, the strange thing is I upgraded our development system without problems using the same SUM version.

Hi Pavan,

Since the trace is not helping, please increase the trace level of SUM tool.

1. Stop SUM
2. Set com.sap.sdt.severity = DEBUG in the following files
       -SUM\sdt\param\logging.properties
       -SUM\sdt\prop\logging.properties
       -SUM\java\param\logging.properties
3. Start SUM and reproduce the issue

Hopefully this will show up the reason for null.

As far as i know, there should be problems in stack file.

Also mention your installation is dual stack or single(Java Only)?
