Hi Vedi,

can you provide additional information on the satellite system, which data generates the grey rated EWA report.

- Post the current System Component

- Is ST-PI, ST-A/PI installed?

- Are Service Definitions up-to-date?

Have you openend the EWA report, is there any hint to solve the problem.

Which data is missing (all, just workload statistics, Operating System data)?

Best regards

Here is the ST-PI in satelite system

ST-PI 2005_1_700 0003 SAPKITLQI3 SAP Solution Tools Plug-In

One interesting thing in the download in SDCCN, it has some yellow warning in the log like this:

09.04.2007 04:41:55 > FILL_SNAPSHOT_DATA : # of tables in funcmod > # of tables in mod 000605 /BDL/SAPLBDL3

Hi Vedi,

you have not mentioned the Support Package for SAP_BASIS 700.

Have you already implemented SAP Note 917558 (EarlyWatch Alert does not contain ST03 statistics as of 7.0)? The problem is solved with SAP_BASIS 700 SP08.

In the EWA report, which section contains no data?

I have put support package 11

Here is the detail:

SAP_ABA 700 0011 SAPKA70011 Cross-Application Component

SAP_BASIS 700 0011 SAPKB70011 SAP Basis Component

PI_BASIS 2005_1_700 0011 SAPKIPYJ7B PI_BASIS 2005_1_700

ST-PI 2005_1_700 0003 SAPKITLQI3 SAP Solution Tools Plug-In

SAP_BW 700 0012 SAPKW70012 SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0

SAP_AP 700 0008 SAPKNA7008 SAP Application Platform

BBPCRM 500 0007 SAPKU50007 BBPCRM

ST 400 0010 SAPKITL420 SAP Solution Manager Tool

CPRXRPM 400 0007 SAPK-40007INCPRXRPM

ST-A/PI 01I_CRM500 0000 - Application Servicetools for CRM 500

ST-SER 700_2006_2 0002 SAPKITLOK2 SAP Solution Manager Service Tools

ST-ICO 150_700 0008 SAPK-15078INSTPL SAP Solution Manager Implementation Content

And looking at the solman details:

Tcode: Solution_manager : EWA report

Earlywatch alert

[X] Product Components

[?] Download Data

[?] SMD Data Retrieval

[X] cover page

..

.

So looks like it doesnt pick the right Download data, something messed up with my config I guess.

thanks,

Hi Vedi,

What are the installed software components on the satellite systems?

The cause for the grey report is probably not related to your SolMan system, which is up-to-date.

The SAP Note 917558 (EarlyWatch Alert does not contain ST03 statistics as of 7.0) is related to the Satellite System. The problem is solved with SAP_BASIS 700 SP08.

If we can to solve it through SDN, I would recommend to create a customer message on component SV-SMG-SDD. Mention the software components of the SAP Solution Manager system, Satellite Systems, Session date and related SID, Inst no. of the grey rated EWA.

Hi Vedi,

In Note 917558, I can not see any recommendation to import ST-SER into satellite system.

(ST-SER requires add-on ST, so you will not be able to install ST-SER in satellite systems. Of course, there is absolutely no need to install ST-SER in satellite system as it belongs to the Solution Manager system.)

As your SAP_BASIS 700 is already on SP11, the described correction in 917558 is already implemented.

I could not find any related customer message from you, only one related to Maintenance Optimizer.

Sorry, that I can not help remotely through SDN.

Hi Ruediger,

the SAP message number is 0000306653 with medium priority.

submitted on April 9th 2007.

I also asked them to login to figure out what went wrong.

Btw, how do you see another company sap messages ?, any tips ?

Hi Vedi,

as I work for SAP in the Support area, I have access to these messages.

(Of course, customers have no access to messages of other customers.)

Now, a very experienced colleague is processing your message.

I am sure, that you will get soon a solution. Lets wait for his findings.

Best regards

Yep, SAP found the issue,

it is the double entry for solution manager rfc destination in SDCCN

Deactivated the un necessary entry, and things start working now

thank you
