Dear Sir,
My client has given limited access to their CTMs about creating Material Master records. Like PP team will have MRP, FI team will have access to Accounting view etc.Due to this there are lot of incomplete materials getting created.
PR,POs are getting raised on the same materials. Which is causing lot of problems to client.
Request you to provide solution which we can propose to client so that PR & POs are raised only on completed materials.

you should use the field " X-plant Material Status" .Create a Status which Blocks the material for Procurement /production etc. This status should always be selected as a defualt when the the basic data of the materialis created. Then once the Master data admin is convinced/confirms that all the departments have created their respective views, then this status should be removed.

Its always a good idea first to create a material master record with basic view and then extend for the required departmental usage. There has to be stringent communication lines especially on creation/modification/extension of Material Master record in your organization. However in your case I do agree with Mr. Raviraj Sharma's solution. You can implement the same and check.
