What are ABAP proxies? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
I have just studied on ABAP proxy. could you please tell what is the different between ABAP proxy and other method of interfaces and what are them?

HI,
Abap proxies are Adapter less communicaiton to R3 server with ABAP Objects.
Only you need to use these when you are communicating with R3 related.and the WAS >=6.20

ABAP proxies are used to interact with ABAP objects,like R/3 server etc.
they are a replacement for adapters and can be used with WAS>6.20
