SAP PI 7.1 on Oracle RAC 11g

I would like to know if there is some restriction to install SAP NW 7.4 PI Java on Oracle RAC 11g, sharing resources with other SAP instances.

RAC is supported for all NW versions.

You are willing to use RAC instances to host many SAP application DBs ?

Around 4 instances.

I don't know if there is any SAP AG recomendations about usage of SAP PI 7.4 on Oracle RAC, or if it can be used as in any SAP Netweaver instance .....

Hi

I've never heard/read about any specific DB requirements for PI.

PI does not have any specific DB usage (unlike BW that requires some specific instance parameters) Just make sure to run stat update script 1020260 - Delivery of Oracle statistics (Oracle 10g, 11g)

(for SXMS* tables) but that script is not specific to PI.
