Portfolio Item integration

Hello PPM Guru,

Hope you all doing very well. Just a basic question in regards to Portfolio Item creation and subsequently PS project creation automatically on Item Save.

If we have situation where,-

Item Type1--->PS project 1 (From Project Profile 1)

Item Type2--->PS project 2 (From Project Profile 2)

can be mapped by standard SAP or using Enhancement such as BADI etc?

Currently Standard SAP Project profile (PS) provided by SAP supports the PS creation from item.

If we create PS Project using Custom SAP Project profile (PS) created by customer and mapped in configuration, will that support auto PS project creation from Portfolio Item?

Yes Diana. You can configure this in "SAP Portfolio and Project Management -->Portfolio Management--> Global Customizing --> Portfolio-Independent Settings --> Map Item Type to Project or PS". Use the section "Item Type to PS Project".
