Collective Order in SAP ME

Hello Experts,

Does ME support collective orders as downloaded from SAP ECC?

I have created collective orders in SAP ECC and released them. Both parent and child orders are transferred to ME successfully. But when I try to release either of the orders it fails.

There is no exception message as such but with the following message:

Other orders (not collective) are getting released correctly in ME.

Would be thankful for any inputs on this.

There is no support of collective orders. For the scope of features covered by the design, please consult this online help page.

Hello Sergiy,

Thanks for the reply. I have gone through the details you provided and was under this impression.

But I am exploring system rule maintenance for order - Create Sub assembly shop order. By maintaining it as true the earlier error is gone and now I get a different error.

I am exploring this further and hope to revert back with details.

Hi Srinivas,

Collective orders created in ECC would not be linked in the same way in SAP ME. SAP ME does not do any check on the child orders in case of parent order is getting completed.

Create order rule will create different orders for Sub assembly inside SAP ME.
