SAP Netweaver Gateway on Java Stack?

Hello,

I'm a little confused regarding the implementation options of SAP Netweaver Gateway. The tutorials, documents

etc. I have found indicate that the SAP Netweaver Gateway is a component to be run on SAP application server

ABAP (central hub or embedded deployment). However, one document suggests the SAP Netweaver Gateway

Java side by side with SAP PI on a Java single stack installation:

What's true, is SAP Netweaver Gateway also available for the SAP Web AS Java? If yes, are there any more detailed documents

that describe how to install and configure a Java stack based SAP Netweaver Gateway?

Hi,

In context of SAP PO, the gateway piece is called as Gateway Java (Java implementation of the Gateway Hub - part of the Integration Gateway) which is different from SAP Gateway components (IW_BEP, GW_FND etc ) on ABAP AS.
