Server Data Export/Import

Hi Experts,

I am looking to a way around to our solution here and need your advice on something.

Below is the scenario -

We have a Prod system at version 2 and our QAS server is on version 10. We are hypothesizing if we can export just PROD data(not PROD server as a whole) and import it to QAS(which is already at level 10). Is this feasible? If yes, please advice how. Any documentation would be really helpful.

Please explain you question in details .

Do you want system copy or only few tables etc .

But why there is release difference in system landscape?

What do you mean by "Prod system at version 2"? What exactly is at that version? Specify the components

Regarding the export, are you going to perform a client export?

Is there a reason why the production is at a lower version and the quality at a higher version?

Client copy is suggested only between systems on the same level else the copy can get terminated due to structure differences.

For same BASIS release, you can try it.
