The answer is unfortunately no, you can not display data in tabular format in the sap business workplace, in theory this could be done using html tags, but the displaying the the data in the SAP inbox reads the tags wrongly.
possible partial workarounds are: using a table of a single field (swf_lines for example) and writing the headers line by line.

changing the BSP sending the workflow mail in the extended notification - here you can add html tags - but this will only work for the mail.
