Error while download report from R/3 to Excel

Dear

when we are run any report and try to download it into Excel it misses some data the report sum and excel sum does not match on prd Server

but for QUA and Dev it shows right values..

we have recently upgrade from EHP4 to EHP6 before that all report shows right values

it throws following errors

code page 4013

FES032

Give some valuable suggestion to overcome this issue

Hi,

When data exported in such way it actually created plain text file with tab delimiters and .xls extension.

If you click at that file in explorer it opens in Excel without any questions, Excel performs conversion silently.

However, if you open this file by "File->Open" in Excel, it brings file import dialog where you can specify import options. Try to perform import in such way.

You can examine exported .xls file in some kind of editor which show it contents "as is", Notepad for example, and try to figure out:

1)is number of rows in exported file and source alv grid the same?

2)is there any abnormalities in data, such a wrong line breaks, strange symbols, e.t.c.
