Unable to get meta data for IDoc type CLSMAS04: SEGMENT_UNKNOWN

Hi,

We have a Java Only PI 7.4 system. I'm currently facing an error when trying to send an IDoc (CLSMAS.CLSMAS04) from CRM to PI:

[JRA] handleRequest(), exception sent to client: Unable to get meta data for IDoc type CLSMAS04: SEGMENT_UNKNOWN, CONVID=51201712

We are sending lots of other IDoc types from CRM to PI without any errors.

I also tried to manually preload the meta data for CLSMAS04 into PI via the IDoc Adapter Monitor in PI but it wouldnt allow me to.

Hi Krish,

Please follow the steps:

1. Try to re-import the IDOC from ESR.

2.Update metadata:

  Monitoring home -> IDOC adapter monitoring -> Metadatamonitor-> Select your IDOC -> Reload.

Hi Krish,

Try to import the idoc to ESR again.

Once you re import the idoc in ESR and update meta data it would work.

Try these two steps in order and let us know if you still face the issue.

Dear Krishneel,

Please check if you have access to add meta data ,else ask your basis team to update metadata manually.

I hope you know how to update metadata manually.
