Different filters for each visualization

Hi,

I've been trying to create filters that would be linked for and only for a given visualization and cannot succeed. I would like to have independent filters for each visualization. Is this possible? If so, how? Should I create a new dataset for each?

Hi,

this is a really neat suggestion, but it currently can't be done in the product.

I had a quick look at the Ideas Place (where enhancements are posted and voted for) and there wasn't anything quite like this .

Do elaborate your thoughts on IdeasPlace and we'll vote for it.

I do know that the product group are looking to redesign the filter interfaces and layers within the Prepare, Visualise, Compose & Explore modes. including passing variables and other cascading relationships.  But as yet, I couldn't say what that would look like or when it's planned for delivery
