followup activity in contracts

hello,

I tried to create followup activity using t-code va46 for the contract type <b>sc</b>. But it gave me the following messge

" Processing of action has not been designed".

How to solve it?

What I understand from follow up activity is, Suppose if u create an followup activity say sales call, then if u create and save a release sales order then the system will send an workflow to user to make phone call. Is that right?

Hi Vijay,

The follow-up activity speeds up the creation of follow-up activities.

For example,the follow-up sales activity type 0002(telephone calls)is specified for sales doc.typeWV(Service contract).

You can create a followup activity for contracts by choosing OUTLINE AGREEMENT,CONTRACT,SUBSEQUENT FUNCTIONS,followup actions and then maintain the selection criteria as req.Then select all contacts with followup action.

Create a sales activity and choose EDIT,foolw-up actions.A dialog box is then displayed that proposes the sales activity type 0002.Select SAVE and follow-up sales activities for the selected contracts will be created automatically.In this case a workflow will be sent to the user to make the sales call.
