Hi,
To List a few, you can refer for step by step docs as:
Beginners guide to Java mapping using DOM parser in SAP XI - Process Integration - SCN Wiki
Java Mapping for PI 7.1 using Abstract transformation class
For UDFs:

Hi Gourab,
Just spend some time searching. Besides finding what you need, you improve your searching skills in SCN and this is the key for succeeding here 😃
I have to say it's impossible you have searched and didn't find any good document. Java mapping is one of the most basic tasks we have to perform in the daily PI activities (in terms of usage, not in complexity) and there're tons of materials here (most of them, very good articles).

Good luck!

Hello Gourab,
A UDF you write within a graphical mapping. It is mostly just one function manipulating a string or something.
Java mappings are separate maps often used to determine target directories or file names (manipulating the DynamicConfiguration). There is an example map:

It is hard to help if you do not have a specific requirement.
Best regards,
Peter
