We are facing a very unique issue. For the planning area one of the user is unable to access the data via excel addon. If the user is using a Template to pull the key figures no data gets selected. However if the user is trying to select the appropriate planning level, time periods, keyfigures he is getting the following error.
Any suggestions on what the issue could be?
Hi Arvind,
Can you please refer below SAP notes and apply the same. It should resolve the issue.
· 2107965 (all Office versions)
· 2109314 (Office 2010)
Thanks & Regards,
Rohit

We have created a common template. One user selects the template and gets the data populated but for the other user only the Key figure description comes but there are no values or data.

Hey Arvind
what I have seen in the system in our project was, that one user with "View All" visibility filter can perfectly see all information, and anotherone with a userspecifc visibility filter could see e.g. 5 keyfigures but only 4 of them had values
For us, rootcause was combination of visibility filter and the problem that our figures where on different planning levels
Example: You have a visibility filter on Customer Group = Value 1
Planning Level PPRODCUST has that as attribut. the 4 visible keyfigures are on that level. ---> all fine
Planning Level PPRODREGION does have only the product and the region but no Customer Group, so your visibility filter is not catching the values.
In that ugly case, you may see the 5th keyfigure that is on that level and it is part of the role assigned, but no values as there is no visibility filter on it
Solving this issue is not simple and depends very much on your data model, so I cannot give a clear guideline.
ANother reason could be related as well for visibility filter, which could be related to curremcy conversion or unit of measurement conversion
So check first of all if the user can see all if he gets visibility filter all. If yes, than start to check the visibility filter and if ALL the objects checked in te visibility filter are existing on that planning level on which your issue-keyfigure is created
Cheers

Just a guess, but this error looks like it is from the filter screen. Did the user start to filter on an attribute but then not select any values before running the report?
