calculations across time period

Hello Experts!

How to perform calculations on Key figures which are at different time buckets?
The requirement is to perform continuous trend  analysis or  year on year / month to month  analysis?

I need to perform a trend analysis e.g. an alert in case of 3 months of oversell or undersell.

Could u please elaborate how to do this request level calculation?

Hi Swati,

Give me some more information:

1. How do you determine oversell or undersell?

2. Do you compare actual sales with some baseline sales to determine oversell or undersell?

3. At what planning level at you trying to calculate?

You can use logic as configured in key figure PERIODID and PERIODID1 to compare with last period and conduct running deviation to determine oversell or undersell.

You will have to use a combination of planning level and key figures to calculate across time periods.

There are some examples in SAP2 model.

Key Figure: ACTUALSQTYPRIORYR

Focus on the REQUEST level calculation and planning level of the same.
