Distribution folder

Hi,

Would like to ask, because we are encountering an intermittent crash of MDM system. There's an advise from SAP to keep files under distribution folder less than 50000 but currently, we already have 100K+ files.

Would like to know if what is this distribution folder? Is this a folder for syndication? How I could determine the files I could remove/delete?

It should be safe files that have been already imported for some time, from the Archive folder.

files in Archive folder should be safe to remove.

you can zip them and move to other folder
