what is excise duty and how we will calculate these in the pricing procedure

Excise Duty: This is the Tax levied by Central Government of India, when the material is being moved out from an manufacturing Plant. Excise Duty vary from product to product, which is based on Chapter ID. Chapter ID clubs similar product in same Excise Rate. This is implemented through CIN (Country India Version) in SAP.
Surcharge: This is an tax over & above an existing Tax.
Revenue accounts: Normally Sales related G/L account are under the category of Revenue account, as they generate revenue for the company.
Cost account: captures the cost of goods / services to the company.
