RFC Adapter issues - STFC_CONNECTION

Hi Experts,

I am trying to test the RFC sender adapter connectivity between ECC and PI. I am trying to test STFC_CONNECTION as per the blog XI/PI: Understanding the RFC Adapter.

But when I am executing the function module I get

Exception

SYSTEM_FAILURE

In ECC.

In PI I dont see any data flowing. Surprisingly when I ping sender channel in 7.4 to check the connectivity, adapter shows the attachment below.

After trying to execute the program in se37. I get a different error when I ping my channel. PFA

Please help.

What is HMsI1FSDV ? is it your ECC system? Did you provide anything under gateway host and service when you create RFC destination in ECC?

You should see entries in smgw transaction for your gateway host and service.

Have you activated your sender RFC channel in PI?

Hi Nishant,

Please Check:

1. If RFC destination in ECC has correct Gateway host and Service details. Do a connection test & Also check if you have provided the same ECC gateway, service (provided in ECC RFC dest) in your RFC sender channel along with appl server details.

2. If you are using valid/correct Program ID.
