Hi Experts ,

I want to make field Purpose in IT 0009 mandatory as IFSC code , without Purpose field (IFSC)  salary cannot be processed.

So , please tell me how will i make the field Purpose mandatory .

Dear Sainath,

You can modify the screen using the Table V_T588M. Go to MP000900 and change the P0009-ZWECK to RF. Copy the standard one and make necessary changes and give the variable key in P0009 feature.

Dear Sainath,

As Purpose is a standard filed to change the text you would need to take the help of ABAP and its not advisable as this is a standard field. You can hide this field in module pool via table V_T588M and to add IFSC field enhance infotype 0009 using PM01 and add one more field as IFSC and make it mandatory field.
