Hi,
I loaded a flat file to ODS and it gave an error when the data is activated. However the error log file does not indicate which line item/row is giving the error. There are over 80k records in the flat file so it's impossible to go through them one by one. How do I identify the affected line item? Please see attached pic.
Thanks.
Hi Daren,
Check the Logs of the DSO in the Log Tab of DSO, i will point the exact line where the Error is.
The Error clearly says its for the Object INVTTD infoobject and there is a Special Char..with some Japanese/Chinese word.
Correct the same Load....also try to load only one Record first and check where the issue is.

Hi Daren,
First of all your flat file may contains bad data or invalid data.
So try to change at PSA or file.
Delete failed request from DSO.
Go to your PSA, Find the value 2014-12-2* in field A_INVDTT by using filter pane.
. in value 2014-12-2** After 2 you have some junk char. you need to delete it.
Or
at PSA try to see the data of 42 data packet. in that you may fine above value.
once you find that value. click on that row and edit taht date value.save.
Later reload to DSO and activate it.
Thanks

Thanks. The log file only contains below info:

Try to change the invalid characters to valid characters.
If you want values that contain invalid characters to be admitted into the system, make the appropriate setting in BW Customizing. Refer to the documentation describing the requirements for special characters and the possible consequences.
For more information on the problems involved with valid and invalid characters, click here.

Hi,
Please check for error in your data for field A_INVDTT.
It seems that there is an error in date 2014-12-2 and some special symbol is there.

Prakash.
