Insufficient DB2-Software Level detected

Hi Experts,

I'm doing the migration (System refresh) from Production to sandbox. Before importing the export dump in sandbox I have uninstalled the SAP system keeping the database files and DB2 software as it is. After that with as usual normal procedure started the import. In 'Execution' phase at startup phase itself I’m facing the error “Insufficient DB2-Software Level detected". PFB screen. From the logs also I couldn't able to get any clue on this. Anyone can please suggest me how to rectify this issue. Early reply should be appreciated.

Hi Sriram,

The error occured in 'Create database port phase'. I have checked the installed database ports in etc-> services, i have given the same port. Still it is causing the same error.

Hi Sriram,

The above mentioned error is solved form myside. Actually the issue is in the main control file the DB version is maintained as 'N/A'. So i have added the environmental variable " SAPINST_ASSUME_DB6LEVEL" and maintained my current DB6 level there. So the installation continued.

Now the proble is i'm getting the new error " FJS-00003  TypeError: fmgt.getNode(source_db2jcc) has no properties (in script NW_ABAP_OneHost|ind|ind|ind|ind, line 32911: ???)"

I have serach the scn threads mentioning use DB6 version higher that 9.1 for windows 2008 R2. But we have already on the higher version 9.7 005.

Will you please suggest on this issue now.

I have checked this SAP note. Our DB6 version i.e 9.7 FP5 is supported by windows server 2008 R2. But still i'm getting the below error.

Hi Sriram,

Source system (Sandbox) details are as:

1: OS-: Windows server 2008 R2

2: DB-: DB2 (LUW) 9.7

The database version is same as that of Production system. Only the OS is different.
