Launchpad vs Launchpage.

Hi All,

                    I'm new to Fiori. My query is about Launchpad and Launchpage.

In LaunchPage we had, settings button on the bottom left, why don't we have this settings button for our LaunchPad apps?

Hi Priya,

In older version (launch page), settings is mainly to rearrange/organize your tiles within the page and with the new Fiori Launchpad you could rearrange without any settings. Also with the newer version you have option for contact support and user preferences (for theme) . So simple answer is though settings is removed yet rearrange feature is still available.

Hi Kiran,

          Re-arrange option is in the settings of the launch page.

          When I enter an app(my timesheet), in that particular app I get a settings button in the bottom left corner, which have this option.

     Sp my question is, why is the settings button removed for apps

There are some app specific settings that are enhanced or might have been removed. You should completely ignore Wave1. Focus should be only on the latest Fiori Wave applications.
