How to properly upgrade SAP BO 4.1 SP02 to SP04_Patch4

Hi guys,

I have done full system install on SAP BO 4.1 SP02 and now wanting to upgrade to most recent version for bug fixes.

My first question is.. Should I upgrade my system to SP04_Patch4 or SP05, and what is the different?

My second question is ... What is the steps to upgrade my system, do I have to follow any documents, should I upgrade SP03 first.....any best practices?

I've read the fit forward plan and upgrade guide but they don't make any senses.

      You DO NOT need to update to sp3 first, you can go straight to SP4 or SP5 and then install any other related patch on top.   All the Service Packs are now commutative, which mean you can jump from SP2 to SP4 or SP5 without any issues.

You have TWO Options:

• Install SP4 and then Patch 04
• Install SP5 and then Patch 03

      It all depends on what version you want to install, both are stable?   The SP5 options is the latest version with the latest features.
