Any issues with setting Exchange Rate decimal to 6 places?

Hi there,

I would like to know are there any users who have experienced issues with transaction amounts, reporting wise by setting the Exchange Rate Decimals to 6 places. I have heard the recommendation is  not to set it to such a high number however the client is very keen on setting this they deal with Foreign Exchange Cash Transactions.

If anyone could share their experiences on setting decimal places greater at 6 I would be very interested to know your experiences?

Hi,

Please note:

1. Not possible to decrease number of decimal places after posting.

2. As per SAP help file, total  will not be accurate in case of 2 decimal values entered for 6 decimal place settings.

3. Better check in Test DB and show to your customer for acceptance.

Please try with test DB to find more information. Currently iam not able to change my settings to give more information.
