Oracle 10g for BO 4.1 CMS and Audit Database

Hi there, attached is a snapshot from the BO 4.1 PAM. We currently have BO 4.0 SP5 installed and are using Oracle 10g for the CMS and Audit Databases. We are planning to upgrade to BO 4.1 however in the BO 4.1 PAM I don't see Oracle 10g mentioned, does it mean that Oracle 10g is no longer supported for CMS and Audit Databases for BO 4.1? Is there any other detailed documentation regarding this. Thanks Regards, samique

Samique,

      You need to a Oracle version that support by both BI 4.0 and BI 4.1, the best version would Oracle 11gR2.

Hi Samique,

The BI 4.1 PAM is official document from SAP and Oracle 10g is not supported with BI 4.1 for CMS and Audit database. You will need to upgrade the database to Oracle 11g R1 or R2 with BI 4.1 upgrade.
