Massmailing without activating Markeketing / Target Groups

Hi all

Our customer would like to use mass Mailing.. is it required to activate the function Marketing / Traget Group Management?

Or is there another way?

The scope plan is not that clear within C4C.

Hello Daniel,

Can you please elaborate on your use case? Why does your customer wants to use mass e-mailing?

If you don't scope Marketing in the project, you won't be able to use the Marketing Campaign feature. Similarly if you don't include Target Group Management, you won't be able to create Target Group for Mass e-mailing using Marketing Campaign.

So if your customer wants to use Campaign Management, you will have to scope both Marketing as well as Target Group Management.

I haven't come across any other functionality where you can use the Mass E-mailing that too without Target Group.

Thank you for your answer!

You're right.. the use case does not make sense. It was raised due to the fact that on C4C launch marketing was not in scope but including mass-mailing..

Have seen that in the scoping/activating phase  within C4C it is NOT POSSIBLE to activate mass-Mailing without activating target Groups and corresponding functions...

Therefore we have added Marketing to the scope to fulfill customer's requirement..
