RF gun - the system is dumping when packing a material using BDC

Hi All,

We are trying to pack a material into a handling unit using BDC, the solution is working correctly when executed through SAP GUI (on computer) , but when we run the program through SAP Console (RF gun), the system is dumping with a raise exception.

A RAISE statement in the program "CL_GUI_DOCKING _CONTAINER======CP" raised the exception

condition "CNTL_ERROR".

Please help to solve the issue.

It's because you are calling a transaction that uses controls. You have toe either do this using a BAPI or BDC using whatever the old transaction was.

What transaction are you calling?

I  am calling transaction VL02.

Odd - it should work then.

Look for OSS notes for VL02 and batch input. The ones I saw show that there are the problems you are seeing with VL02N not VL02.

Issue resolved:

Changed the following setting for each RF user

Help-> Setting

F1 help must be set to "In Model Dialog Box".
