MP: exception caught with cause com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

we are using the soap receiver and this is asynchronus .today we got this error message. it is getting only for a specific message remaining messages are delivered successfully. after that i resend this message but it is gibing same error?

do you get the same error when you test it using soap ui?

It could be firewall issue

Hi Nanda,

Check the size of the payload which is failing. Is it containing many records? ALso check if there is any restriction at the target system end. Also ask Basis folks to check the time out paramter for SAP PI
