Dear Team,
Upon our upgrade from SRM 5 to 7 EHP 2, We are able to find the below behavior change in the workflow where it is getting restarted upon Requisitioner accepting the changes as the business process is
Step 1 - Requistioner is creating the shopping cart
Step 2 - Buyer is changing/approving the Shopping cart
Step 3 - Requisitioner is accepting the changes
Upon accepting the changes, the workflow is getting restarted.
On further analysis, we are able to find that approval state value is getting passed as 'Changed' upon Requistioner clicking on the Accept change
button for the first time where there are no changes have been done from the Requisitioner side.
Could you please advise if anyone has come across this scenario or any suggestions on the above. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Bharathi ,
Did you checked that any version are also getting generated or not. As if the requester accept the changes done by the approver . then a change version is might getting created so the present approver gets updated and is lost and the approval process restarts if the value or cost center is changes ( based on the value how your approval hierarchy is build ) . Just have a look to these few small things .
