Chain has no starter. Add a starter Error for Process Chain in Quality

Dear All,

I am getting the following error for process chain in Quality due to this the chain in inactive mode . but that chain is fine in the Development system .

Chain has no starter. Add a starter.

Message no. RSPC020

I have moved another  process chains in to Quality system . For each  chain having the same problem but everything is fine  in the development system. I executed  the process chain for test and it finished successfully in development .

Please let me know the solution to over come this issue.

Hi,

Seems like Quality system may not be synch with dev system.

You can transport your problematic chains from dev to quality.

Test it there once you transported.

At Quality you can do any creation/changes. So you need do transporting.

Hi Ram,

Thanks for your prompt response.

I have already moved the PC in to Quality, there  I am getting this problem . The chain would be appeared with inactive mode in Quality and I tried open the process chain , It con't be opened due to this following error. But everything is fine in Development .

Assuming as your chain have start variant process.

Please try to use this FM - RSPC_CHAIN_ACTIVATE_REMOTE and try to activate at quality.

Hi Ram,

Again i have activated process chain  in Development  and moved to Quality .

Through the mentioned FM , I have activated the PC in Quality and it's working fine.

Problem solved.
