stop the transactions of 921 Movement type for unrestricted stock

Hi SAP Gurus

As per standard SAP is allowing to Issue the unrestricted stock through 921 Movement type and project stock through 921 Q movement type,

Requirement is to stop the transactions of 921 Movement type for unrestricted stock and system should allow the transactions of 921 Q Movement type for project stock, how to achieve this please suggest

Dear Srini,

It seems the movement type 921 is copy of 221 as per standard system behavior it is not possible to remove special stock.

Kindly try the following way whether you can achieve your requirement, make the field Project mandatory in Field Status Group for 921 and also assign specific transaction by using allowed transactions in OMJJ transaction.

the above mentioned field selection already there, Project field is mandatory,

still system is allowing to post the GI for unrestricted stock

You need to use the special stock indicator Q to avoid the GI from unrestricted.

You requirement can't be fulfilled by standard configuration. You may can try development / enhancement where the logic will be 921 movement type can't be used without the special stock Q.

Try This :

1. Goto Tcode OMJJ and select MoveMent Type 921

2. Click on Account Grouping on the Left Hand Side.

Actions on this screen : Delete all entries with Stock Type shown as blank. Only keep entries wherein the Stock type is shown as Q.

MovType /Stock Type / Value String / TransEvent Key / Acc Modifier

921         / Q               / WA03           / GBB                   / STF

You can't delete any line item from this view. There are no option for delete in this screen.

It can be prevent by removing the account modifier which will stop posting the accounting document.

But It will depend on movement type, as this is a custom movement type, so it can't be sure.

First of all, 921 movement type is not a standard movement type. This movement type has been customized in your organization.

Secondly, I don't think it is possible to remove the special stock from any movement type.
