Bex query changes not reflecting in the Bex Reports

Hi Experts,

I have made the currency conversion change in one of the existing key figures definition in the Bex query and try to refresh the locally saved Bex report but the changes are not reflecting in the report however the report still showing the old values.

However creating a fresh report on the same query reflects the changes.

Please suggest how can I refresh the query structure in the locally saved Bex reports.

Dear Shikha

The existing workbook might be still taking the cache values. Can you run for a different selection and check if the values are changing

I ran the report for the different selection but didn't help, report is still fetching the old value.

hello Shikha,

If your workbook is not getting updated with the changes then

you may need to delete and reassign  the data provider from the result area. Pls follow the below link.

That shows the correct values in the report however all the local filters and settings were removed after reassigning the data provider.

Hi Raman and Phani,

Changes are  there in the Prod system already.

I executed the query in RSRT and then refreshed the locally saved report but it didn't help, report is still retrieving the local currency instead of converted USD values.

Hi,

after changes query please save it

then come to RSRT execute it

now check the changes replect in the query.

which system your are checking- dev/prd.

check the last changed by user.

Hi,

Have you directly done changes at prod.

if yes then save your changed query and close it.

Try to generate your query from RSRT  and later open your query from analyzer.

See the results.

if you done at dev system then again retransport your bex query changes to prod.
