Need to use the material code as text instead of number.

Hi All,

How can i maintain the Material code at item level in the Sales order as Text instead of number.

Is there any standard configuration in Sap SD for this?

For Example: Instead of 41900823,i need to use as TEST-MATERIAL.

kindly help on this.

Hi Pavan,

If you want add some information about materiel then use Text determination at header or item level which might help you.

Please tell us a scenario in which it sounds feasible to have this requirement fulfilled?
