Hi experts,

Can any one please let me know what is the difference between  "Document line type 1" (DLT1)  "Line item type 2" (LIT2)and  "Document line type 3" (DLTy3) which is mentioned in Rate steps?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

thanks  in advance

Hi Vipin,

When Variant program executed then some information generated, To Identify the information of what type, we use Line Item Type  in SAP System.

SAP Has define 6 field for LIT's, With Technical name BELZART, BELZART1 ..... BELZART6.

Now why so many LIT's.

When a Variant program is executed it could generate multiple line of information so we have different level of LIT's for example.

QUANTI01:

1) It generate amount so LIT 00001

2) If also generate the info line  for billed consumption (controlled by Variant control) so LIT IQUANT.

We also have some variant program which do not generate any line item like INFACT06 so we can keep LIT's as blank.

So these are just different level of information.

Hope this will help you.

Thankas, Mohit
